For 60 years, Barcelona has been a leader in high performance team gear for baseball, softball, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field and PE and fitness.
Our Story
In 1956, Sam Barcelona had a vision to build a store where high performing sportsmen and athletes could find the equipment and expertise they needed to compete at the top of their game. He built that commitment to performance into everything he did, and over the years, the Barcelona name became synonymous with excellence in quality, service and product knowledge. As the market evolved, so did the Barcelona family, and now as we celebrate 60 years of success, we’re revolutionizing the high performance team gear marketplace and maintaining our leadership position. Greater Houston Football Coaches Association
GHFCA provides support to schools, coaches, players and player families in the Greater Houston area. The organization has awarded the John Kelley Distinguished Service Award to Sam Barcelona, Jr. (1999) and Sammy Barcelona (2016).
